Last Updated on 04.24.2006
Welcome to the Build-a-Home-Bar.com's Terms of Service. Usage of this website is for entertainment purposes only. Consulting a local carpenter, electrician, plumber, interior designer, or other licensed contractors before starting a construction project is recommended.
We are not responsible for reckless decisions while using power tools, which may be needed to construct a home bar. We suggest the following for a safe experience: Do not drink alcoholic beverages while constructing your bar, wear protective eyewear while using saws, hammers, or anything that could possibly produce projectiles which could injure the eyes. If you are unsure how a power tool works consult an expert or the manual for instructions on proper usage.
Wear a safety device over the mouth and nose while using stains, paints, or when sanding the wood used for construction of a home bar, and always be in an open area with plenty of fresh air. Make sure no loose items of clothing are hanging off of your body when using power tools, as well. Always pay attention to your surroundings.

It also may be a good idea to check your local Better Business Bureau, or Chamber of Commerce when dealing with a local contractor hired to build your home bar.

We respect and value the services, and stance of AA, GA, NA, and MADD. We consider the content presented here to be of a positive nature, and feel home bars are a great way to keep people from driving on the streets of the world while impaired. We realize drunk driving, and drinking alcoholic beverages will never be stamped out totally, and are a major problem for society; but we do realize that you can safely consume alcoholic beverages socially with the safety of yourself, and others around you being considered. No where in the world is as safe as your home. Having a designated driver to drive your party guests home, or calling a taxi is a great way to ensure the safety of your guests. If you know someone or yourself has an alcohol, drug, or gambling problem; you should refer to the online websites, or local chapters of AA, GA, NA, or MADD. There is a huge difference between the social drinker and an alcoholic. Help yourself, or others who struggle with that distinction.
Home Bars can be used for many purposes, and are not just for consuming alcohol. You may desire a bar that resembles an old malt shop, a bar with a TV integrated to resemble a sports bar, or an outdoor tiki bar by the pool. Ideas such as these should be considered when viewing this website. The possibilities are truly endless, and alcohol can be a part of the equation just as easily as not being a part of the equation. You make the choices...
What it comes down to is you are responsible for you. We are not responsible for the actions of any of our readers. We would hope you would use the resources here in a positive light, and responsible manner.
We may make changes to our terms of services at any time. We will post in our news section, if changes occur. We may also include such information in our newsletters, or email our users.
